No more Veganmode?

I know there is a peaceful mode which you can play the game definitely without cannibals' appearance and it doesn't seem like I can change it back to normal mode, but at the same time I would like to fight cannibals after I have done building my castle without any disturbance from the cannibals. But it doesn't work, when I type the code "veganmode" on the title screen, just nothing happens, also "vegetarianmode". So I assume dev team has taken this away?

I wondered that too. It used to work last week but now it doesn't. Maybe they took it out. :(

Mode cheats work fine still. If its not working you're typing it wrong.

I am so sure that I have keyed in the correct codes, in many times.

If you chose Peaceful mode in the game menu when you started the game you can't change that later, it will be peaceful until the end.
Start the game in normal mode and then you can change to peaceful mode and back to normal again when you want.
Or start with the veganmode code instead of chosing peaceful in the game menu.

Make sure your spelling it correctly - sometimes people will do vagenmode instead of veganmode. If still not working, close out game in in steam do file verification. Veganmode also works in co op game if all partys start that way BUT it only shuts off mobs on surface, caves still have mobs.

As i said, and looks like you didn't read, "It can be enabled/disabled on an existing save at any stage of the game. However, choosing the "peaceful" option before starting a new game is irreversible and the saved game will be permanently free of enemies. "

I just tried to change back and it worked, veganmode to switch and meatmode to switch back

I need it can be enabled/disabled not permanently peaceful mode. I have even checked the link before you put it here, but still it simply didn't work. No matter how many times I typed in "veganmode" "vegetarianmode" and none of these works. It is just weird. Anyway I kind of giving it up. Thanks for the info.
