Clearing a Camp

I have placed my main camp on a hill above a nearby cannibal village. My cabin is in a mud hole and I have a spare hunting tent and tree house so that I can dodge the Cannibal scouts every night. But every night the cannibals scout one of my houses. Some times I stay up all night watching them. I am by the mountain so the cannibal village kindof blocks me off from the rest of the island and I am wondering if it is possible to clear it out and not run into cannibals there anymore. I want to freely run out to the rest of the island.

The way i understand it, the cannibals get refreshed with each load of a save file, so completely stopping them, "gonna needa bigger boat".

Try building a Trump wall, and make the cannibals pay for the rocks...

Maybe someone else has better insight about that location...

What i do is just build a wall aroudn there camp so they are trapped, simple and effective.

While cannibals don't exactly spawn in the camp, they spawn near the area. I've seen two different groups spawn just a stones throw away from their camp and they would be kneeling for a while before they start their activities.

Cannibal villages are the best. They're indestructable and you can climb them for a good view of the area. I always build my base around them now. South-east camp being the best.

P.S. You can build on them! A bit hard to nail down phat but I managed to do it already since I enjoy forcing structures onto things (also did the same to the cargo containers)

wow, all of you, thank you! this has been a very enlightening post. And fairly unfortunate as well as I seem to have cornered myself unless I am prepared to travel a long ways to find rope and cloth!

Effigies, villages, caves, suitcases all contain excessive amounts of cloth, which is used for rope.
