Do you need Timmy's toy in order to enter the Ending area?

I'm curious because I've been slightly messing around with MODApi to figure out everything since I generally am not good at games like these, but still wish to have fun, I found the keycard and decided to go in a random shot in the dark for the vault door, only when I did open it, there was nothing but void. Tried to enter it as well to see if it'd load up but I just ended up falling through said void. I'm not sure if it's because I'm missing something for it or if I just in general have a bad save.

I believe you have a bad save because the door is always in the map, added a few months ago in the cave and you must have the keycard to get inside, and seeing as you had the card, my guess if that your cave file corrupted somehow, ether during file creation or just your PC accidentally deleting some code
Best thing you can do man is just make a new save, at least now yoou know where everything is
PS: Type veganmode when the game loads up and it'll remove all creatures from world ;)

No i dont sorry man, my PC bearly runs the game
I was playing multiplayer with my friend when the sinkhole was opened and we stocked up on armor and jumped down there, had like 0.000001% life left but it was a heaps fun way to get down there
I reccomend looking at a youtube tutorial

It's in the water. You'll need a rebreather.

That's what I thought as well, but I have bit of a feeling like I also require Timmy's stupid toy, because in videos I've seen you put the toy on Timmy.

That's what I thought as well, but I have bit of a feeling like I also require Timmy's stupid toy, because in videos I've seen you put the toy on Timmy.

You don't need the toy. Unfortunately, probs a bad save/glitch.
