picking up bodies instead of looting them

I can not loot bodies no matter what I do I can only seem to pick them up. You can not change the controls which would allow me to fix this myself so what do I do?

Which key do you want to assign to that action? The kye re-assign function in this version of the game is so bad, I have to use key re-mapping software to achieve usable functionality.
