Lower Time-To-Kill in Stalker Enhanced Edition?
Hey all,

I recently finished playing the original STALKER with just a few quality-of-life mods to keep the vanilla feel intact. One of the things I absolutely loved was the low time-to-kill; head-shots with a pistol actually meant something. Quick, brutal, and realistic. Every fight felt tense because you could go down just as fast.

Jumped into Enhanced Edition, and right from the first few encounters, it feels... off. I’m pumping rounds into enemies, and they’re still running around, returning fire, eating lead like it’s lunch. It doesn’t have that same "you versus the zone" weight the original gave off.

Am I missing a setting or config option here? Anyone have mod suggestions or tweaks to bring back that deadly lethality? I’m 100% fine if it also makes me easier to kill; that’s part of what made the original so great.

Appreciate any insight!

Nothing you can do at the beginning, enemies are more spongy, even a bandit can survive a headshot on Master, it does get better with better gear though. On the bright side so is the player more resilient.
