For shooter there is a trick
Increase the sensitivity of the mouse... practice alot... and decrease back when playing
your hand has conditioned to the higher sensitivity... which makes micro-movements precise
most "Ironsight" and "Scope" mechanic work on reducing the aimed mouse sensitivity
thus it is as if your guns have permanent scope/sight aimed
but you enjoy a full screen vision
I don't really disagree but I would personally do it my way, but everyone has their preference on learning. I'd rather just go download that training map and practice once a day every day. There are multiple settings in that map, too. I get bored with osu, and I don't play rytheme games at all. I consider my track aim pretty good.
I agree that if you're a wide genre gamer, you take skills from all of the games and put it into one. Something as fighting games and RTS can actually help you in FPS.
I've never in my life heard of that, but I don't play games like call of duty.
Changing your mouse sensitivity constantly is only going to ♥♥♥♥ up your muscle memory.
Indeed it did for all of us.
You've never heard of this? There are mice specifically designed to change mouse sensitivity on the fly...in fact half the gaming mice that I know of do this...if you play fps games(not just cod), this is something people do plenty of. It's usually meant for sniping or long distance precision shots.
Sorry for my ignorance. Haven't seen anyone do that. Yes, I own a gaming mouse that can do it.
I'm curious to know who actually uses this?
Judging from my steelseries profile, it seems only 2 out of the 5 fnatic (CSGO) players use two different mouse settings. Interesting.
Quake Live all the way.
I have been playing CS since 1999...about 13 years...
I am using 3 setting... P for precision, O for overall, - for medium
sensitivity 1 for precision shooting (AK no scope)
sensitivity 5 for medium range assault rifle shooting and most aimed sniper rifles
sensitivity 20 for close quarter battle and general movement...
a rapid toggle between sensitivity makes it possible to run around with high sensitivity... aim roughly with the medium, and go dead accurate just before the shot...
it is also possible to bind mouse 2 as a lower sensitivity and mouse 1 release it
"bind mouse2 sensitivity 3;+attack2"
"bind mouse1 sensitivity 20;+attack"
the moment you get the sniper rifle scoped in (mouse2) your sensitivity is dropped
and it return when you fire
this sensitivity maybe useful for killing... but in Garry's mod when you have to precisely align
a piece of block at specific angle... or taking out a soda can at extreme ranges
the sensitivity is particularly useful
Playing the game is.
