Yes, if you aimed at the head while slashing. But unless the person was standing still, it was pretty hard to do. At least that is what I learned from the recieving end, since only daggers and CS comets tended to one shot me.
-Mind, I think having it that way, crits if you aim at the head, was incredibly stupid.-
Edit: I have been corrected, you slash horizontally through the center of the body.
Also, criticals in S4 were done by hitting the center of their body, horizontally, that is. Though, some weapons, like the Spy Dagger and EXO scythe are unable to perform critical hits.
S4 league the game mechanicly was more challenging then GunZ 2...
GunZ 2 is easier but... the game itself isn't a failure...
S4 league failed due to the pay 2 win aspect, what's keeping GunZ 2 apart right now is there is no pay 2 win factor.
A level 1 can easily kill a level 20...
There is no pay to win in this game and the advantages a higher level player has isn't a game changer.
This game will be successful assuming that Maiet doesn't go down the pay 2 win path and even when GunZ 1 was released that game was heavily skill reliant and cash shop items were mainly bought for cosmetic reasons.
There was no acutal pay to win factor in there as skill was the most important, since it's Maiet they'll be following the same pursuit.
This game is fine and I prefer it more then s4 league since there is no pay to win.
On the other hand, I'd love to run around with something more medium range in addition to my smg.
Perhaps a hybrid system of character's melee+characters unique weapon+a choice of common weapons between all classes. This would mess up max's gig though.
No, you centered your character on them, you didn't aim for the head. It was actually pretty easy to do. You couldn't do it with dagger since, I'm pretty sure, criticals on dagger were both random and completely unnecessary.
Sure GunZ 2 isn't a total failure, but GunZ 1 could claim quite a bit more than not being a total failure.
Also, I'm pretty sure alternate weapons for classes is coming. Why it's not here yet, not sure.
