second reason its dead because all the original players got older and had lives to live.
both gunz 1 and 2 were niche games, so the impact of that is larger.
then new players see the hacks, being locked to specific regions, the P2P system, the already low player count even when it was most popular, the MASSIVE skill gap, the cash shop (although nowhere near as bad as it COULD be, it still exists which is enough to put new players off)
problems with connection
hopefully one day some adequate publisher will do a proper marketing campaign. the only thing i think they need to fix if its a problem, is to match noobs with noobs and pros with pros.
