Why So Hard!!!???

Why the heck is the combos so freaking hard?? Its just like mortal combat...the game tells you to pres "x , x , -> , -> , RT" to do that combo....i press it just like that but nothing happens?? Im always to fast or to slow?? WTF!!??

Normal combos like "x, x , y" thats easy, but as soon as direction keys get involved, its impossible to do a combo even if you press it like they tell you to in the tutorial. It only does the first 3 button combo, but as soon as you press the directional buttons, its like your combo cancel's and then the combo just does not happen, despite the fact you pressed the buttons in correct order??

Whats up with that?? How do i do thes long combos??

Have the same problem with my xbox controller. Using a keyboard was waaay easier then controller :). The "x, x" needs to be done sequential and then x + x need to be done fast together. so batman's special is like <- -> + y, with basicaly no delay

uurrgghh, but keys on the keyboard is all messed up. It just feels natural playing with the conroller you know. Im not use to the keyboard

which combos you have problems with? I'm also using the 360 controller and i have no problems at all and now i change to use the Qanba Q4 and I can even do the combo better than the controller :))). Just need some time to get use to the game, i can confirm this game is one of the easiest game to do long combo compare to the other...like Street fighter 4 ^^!

Yeah injustice is one of the easiest fighting games I have played, combo wise. If you think injustice combos are hard, you haven't tried SF4 haha.

If you are dashing when you press right, right, then you are doing it too slow.

basicly when you play tutorial with batman. Its on the last tutorial i think. Its a combo move similiar to what i posted. But i did some research, and appearantly xbox 360 contollers for some do have slow responses. And i have tested it. The game wants me to press the combos that uses more that 3 buttons, super super fast, and then the combo plays off. As soon as i switch to my keyboard, i can do the combo on my time with no problems...

So my controller does have a delayed response, and some other people also have the same issue..which will explain why i sucked so much on mortal kombat....cause the keys never registered fast enough.

Also, when the combo involves using directional buttons, the combo is merely impossible. Cause as soon as you press the direction button on the controller, it just cancels the whole combo, and you need to start over. But pressing the buttons in rapid motion over and over and over gets the combo going, but not complete it. When i switch over to keyboard, i can do the combo effortless.

Thing is, games like these im used to play on controller, not keyboard

yes i can agree with you some combo the controller is impossible to be 100% success like the super man Y+A then Y+ down forward X. Some time the input of the controller will make you feel like an idiot ^^.

But now here is the real question...how can you increase the controller responsivness in game?? Dont you get like a 3rd party app or anything similiar that you can increase the sensitivity of your buttons??

Actually i just plug with whatever the port i want and i think the port is not problem. This game some you need to do very fast and you cannot wait for the animation to finish. For example like the batman combo with batarang ( the <-- then --> +Y if you use the 360 controller). You need to do X X Y very fast and just after you pressed the Y button you need to do <---->+Y immeadiately, just dont wait for the animation of batman's punch). At first you will feel that this game combo is very weird but just need some time you will understand all the animation and combo then you will see that this is one of the easiest fighting you have ever played :))

Thought you had to actually time combos in this game, but you can just smash the order as fast as possible. Got through the special moves when I reseted my xbox controller to. (start/run joy.cpl -> select controller -> reset), think the dpad was abit off :\

There is no reset option?? i have fiddeld around there before. If only there is some way to increase the regisry of controller to the game. Cause what i think happens is, the keys respond to slow to the game....well i dunno lol, i just play like i play now. Just mash the buttons like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hahahahaha

Are these controller delay only online gamplay? or also on local multiplayer and singleplayer?

Its not controller delay, its the mechanic of this game, as i said fighting game required a lot of times to learn and when you understand the mechanic of this game you will see how easy it is. There are some combo you need to click very fast and cannot wait for the anamitions to finish.

I spent more than 10 hours now playing SF4 and i can't even do a proper 5 hits combo. This game is so hard lol ^_^.
