I definitely agree on dd inputs. That is a constant source of frustration for me since I use Cyborg. His Target Acquired only comes out about 30% of the time online. I also hate dbf commands (ie. Shazam's command grab).
What exactly are the problems you run into?
dbf, the hate. Hope I won't see it in MKX...
Although grapple / low feline evade takes the cake for me. But I don't use pad, so there's that.
And the controller works just fine in other games that support it.
Nothing you can do about input drops online. That crap drives me crazy and just not want to play the game.
Mortal Kombat (2011) has the same problem. In both cases, it's due to NRS putting terrible netcode in their games, although MK also had the "Input Glitch," which makes that game rage inducing.
Since NRS hasn't proved that they know to make online capable fighting games, I'm going to wait at least 6 months for the online to be sufficiently tested before buying MK10. As dumb as it is that character select isn't blind by default in their games, the worst offenses are the lack of both connection quality and region filtering options. Any fighting game without both of those filtering options is automatically unplayable online.
