This is a not fix, all you're doing is capping the frame rate at 30fps. Give the game about 20 mnutes and this "fix" will undo itself. People need to stop spreading this garbage because it's not a fix and does not make the game even remotely playable.
The menus and cutscenes all play fine, but the actual combat is SUPER slow. I've tried reducing the resolution (normally 1600x900, but tried multiple lower res options), playing in windowed mode compared to fullscreen, and turning off any graphic enhancements (shadows to minimum, antialiasing off, etc.) and nothing seems to allow it to run at normal speed in combat.
System specs:
Windows 7 Premium
Intel Core i7-2600 @ 3.4GHz
12GB RAM
AMD Radeon HD 6450
Did I waste my money by purchasing this??
I seem to find that a number of people are having this issue all over the web, and there is debate over whether its a game issue or people with 'sub-par' systems... but I've never had any issues running any other games/programs that are graphics or processor intensive,
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: Is there any way to apply this kind of fix without having to do the glitch? Maybe cap the fps a bit higher? 40-50fps would be pretty much amazing for me as I can get that constantly and don't intend to play online.
