Can't start game

I was playing and all of a sudden it closed the game. And so I tried to start the game and it just wont work.

I tried verifying integrity of game files. I also tried uninstalling the game and redownloading it. Did the same with Steam. I checked my AV system, nothing seems to work.

I have never used any outside applications. All I do is start the game and play.

ive been having these exact issues for at least a month, but last 2 days i havent been able to play on my pc AT ALL.

For the past 2 days, same! I'm glad that I'm not the only one. I've never really had any issues. The only issue I encountered one time was during an update, but it got resolved in like 2 hours.
