black screen at the start

When i launch the game, my screen becomes black but i can still hear the music and if i click with the mouse i can still move in the menu, but it won't fix, i've already tried disinstalling the game and lauch it again, it happens again, can somebody help me pleeeeeaaase? ty

Try Alt+Enter to toggle between windowed and fullscreen mode. Might help.

That helped me as I was having the same issue, still not able to get it to work in fullscreen but I can at least play in windowed mode now!

Try setting your compatibility mode to Windows 7. It might fix the issue on fullscreen.

Go to your game directory. Right click on the executable. Press properties. Go to the compatibility tab. Turn on "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and set it to "Windows 7"

This solved the black screen for me! Win+right to make the window big enough to read text (also did drag to top of screen to maximize). From windowed mode, I turned on fullscreen in the settings (and changed side art) and now it launches full screen without problem.

Dont 't kow how that works. Win10 and big picture mode on v99r1.
