Having weird mouse lag?
For some reason, when I move my mouse in the game, it lags drastically, this doesn't happen if I use a bluetooth mouse for some reason, but it happens with all wired mouses, in many different usb ports. thoughts?

This doesnt happen in any other game that I have seen.

That's really weird. Do you happen to have a wireless controller attached to your computer?
bagel Oct 11, 2013 @ 3:18pm
I did not, but I fixed the problem. ALSO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RAMI HI THERE, I LIKE YOUR GAMES (obviously). So I am not sure if this anything you guys should know, or Logitech (you may want to relay this info to them?) but in their logitech gaming software (necessary to use their mice and keyboards in the gaming line) the mouse is set to report at 500 times a second, when I dropped it to 330 there was no issue. Its just weird because this doesnt seem to happen with anything else in my library. Anyway, fixed and loving it now, thanks for the response man!

Hey there! Glad to hear that's a solution to the problem. I'll make sure to remember that when anybody else has the problem.

having the same problem. mouse is super laggy, kinda feels like a triple-A 3D title with vsync enabled doing way less than 30 fps. logitech g700 wireless mouse with no logitech s/w installed. i'm sure this wasn't an issue in wasteland kings, wouldn't have played it otherwise. will try the logitech drivers now.

/edit: windowed mode doesn't help, btw. tried disabling SLI, still no change. *off to logitechs download area*

logitech drivers didn't improve anything either. tried setting the polling rate to 500 and 1000 - no dice. ingame videos on YT show smooth mouse input and gameplay, so i know it's not supposed to be like this... any ideas? gonna try an older version of nvidias gfx drivers next...

or maybe the guys who posted those videos succeeded in disabling the fps cap?

Did moving the polling rate down (330) help?
I'm A Lemon Oct 12, 2013 @ 8:21am
oops, should have read ThinkKlincks posts more thoroughly. so lowering the poll rate does indeed help alleviate the issue. 333 was ok, lowest setting (125) works best. still doesn't appear to be a 100% responsive, but very playable now.

/edit: fyi, this wasn't just mouse lag - the whole game was running "slower". it's fine with the lowered polling rate though.

sorry for a dumb question but how do i change my poll rate?

it's an option in logitech's "gaming software"... not sure how to do this if you're not using logitech peripherals :(

Hey Rami, This isn't really related to this thread at all (sorry) but I just wanted some way to get your attention. I have a pretty low spec computer, ive been playing the wasteland kings demo recently and I run that fine, but I just wanna know if this has a higher system expectation than the wasteland kings demo?
Rami Oct 14, 2013 @ 5:59pm
Hey there, no, the specs are similar. It might run better on most systems due to a lot of optimalisation we obviously didn't have time for in the original three day jam.

Oh man this is killing me... I'm running with a corsair and the game completely stops when I move the mouse. I'll wiggle it and the game just stops until I stop with the mouse. I've no idea what's going on. I've never seen this kinda thing before. Halp?!

if you have a logitech mouse try setting the ping to the lowest in the logitech gaming software, otherwise idk, update video drivers id say but my isssue was the mouse software pinging too often
