Why take crown of blood?
All it does is make it harder if it gives less exp and more enemies right?

Crown of blood is fun and also gives you kills for dailies.

I still consider it one of the best crowns for those reasons :)

It's basically changing the difficulty of the game from Normal to Hard.

The Crown makes you level up faster and you get more weapon drops.

You get almost more of all drops! And some weapons work great against groups so it can sometimes make it easier!

I use to start the daily with cob and change it up at world 3 or 5 and in case I get a good run I pop it again later on, much kills such well

I think this post brings up an important question that needs to be addressed. In the past it was stated that the crowns were around to modify play styles. Crown of Love encourages using the same weapons while Crown of Guns, theoretically, makes the player switch weapons on the regular. However Crown of Blood simply makes the game harder and is only taken by people looking for high kill counts during the daily. It does not really change the mechanics of the game in any particular way (similar to Crown of Death). Are the crowns here mostly for variety or specifically for difficulty?

My friends and I just take it for fun. And then we have come to the same conclusion: we get so used to crown of blood now it just doesn't feel right without it (level feels... empty), so 99.9% of the time we start the game with cob.

More enemies = more skill
no idea never even gotten to crowns.

You can equip them from start.

I think it was better before.
Crown of Blood made a lot of enemies spawn, but they used to drop their normal amount of rads.
The "less rads" nerf is quite recent compared to the implementation of the crown. And I found it against the concept of the crown, which seemed to be, if not was, getting a high reward for a high risk (more enemies = more rads = more things trying to kill you and eventually suceeding).

One might say, "it's just one rad less", but given the amount of enemies, that represents a lot of rads
That drawback also already was the Crown of choice's (less rads, extra chest)

I really feel it didn't need this nerf. "More enemies" were both the crown's pro and con (high risk/high reward).

I MAKE THEM DOLLA BILLS was right on this too :

I loved crown of blood, you could level up so fast, and it just made the game not just more challenging but more fun since it opened up possibilities at earlier levels you didn't have before. Now I don't ever play with it.
