[OLD] Yeti Hunt

A thing about the yeti and vlambeer:

They made a game called yeti hunter in the past. ACTUAL SPOILERS for the game YETI HUNTER it seems that whenever you find the yeti, which is always running away in the distance, as soon as you scope in to shoot, the yeti disappears. To my knowledge, it seems like vlambeer likes to give the player a lot of paranoia about a nonexistent yeti. So maybe this whole thing is in theme, there really isnt a yeti in the game

What we know so far:

There is a loading screen tip that says "There is no yeti" it only comes up in Frozen City.

Yet, I dont see any walk animations. It seems like a yeti just pops out. Maybe from the ground?

Opening these files in notepad result in text like Àÿÿ%A8
, so clearly its in complied code. If anyone knows how to arrange it into readable code this will help the hunt big time.

This sound file, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjevNxfEssI&feature=youtu.be&t=3m40s, that I havent heard before anywhere in the game, could be the sound the yeti makes upon spawning.

Sitting afk on 5_1 for an hour does nothing... JW is probably laughing at me for doing this

I recorded myself afk in 5_1, letting two snow tanks wander around while I was sitting in a safe spot. I rewatched the clip, sped up to just 8 minutes, and saw no yeti. I also checked the audio, and no "yeti howling sound" was heard.

Now the Oasis boss, the giant fish that shares the same skull found on the desert, also has game files and such and it's not (???) in the game. (Fish hunt soon?) Although I think JW said before BB is just a placeholder for the Oasis Fish for now and we can expect it in the future.

So to conclude, if someone can read those three Potentialyeti files, that could help out a lot. If there is a yeti, it has to do something with frozen city, and maybe we should keep an eye out of the suspicious and rare Soda Machine prop. Yet there is a good chance vlambeer is just in theme with their older game (spoiler again) that there really isnt a yeti, afterall the filename is POTENTIALyeti, maybe it is just useless code? There does seem to be some data inside the files, 2 KB for potentialyeti_step

Another point: vlambeer said on gieron's stream, after the skeleton was discovered, that they "plan" on adding more secrets now that they know we data mine. Secrets that dont actually exist in game?

With shockwave I mean hitting the ground really hard, the only thing that does that that I can think of is Lil' Haunter.

Ion Cannon.

I thought of melee weapons for some reason, but maybe using Ion Cannon on the soda machine with Rebel's B skin with Last Wish while listening to the b track in a blue moon at Friday the 13th and then spawning two minions and pressing H at the frozen flower?

This pretty much sums up my feelings about the possible yeti

Ill try just shooting the ion cannon off screen and see what happens

Dont know all I can confirm is that on update 78 they mentioned the yeti.

Its obvious that the yeti does not exist, most people are kinda scratching the bottom of the barrel now.
