Actually, that's another sprite. The one ingame is way simpler and a tad smaller than the new one found in the sprite sheets

Welp, everything has been found out.
Grats, but he got the ultra names and text messed up a bit.
Should be:

ULTRA A title = REDEMPTION (icon that resembles Melting)
ULTRA A text = BACK IN THE FLESH

ULTRA B title = DAMNATION (this is the bloody skeleton icon with the Rusty Revolver)
ULTRA B text = FAST RELOAD AFTER BLOOD GAMBLE

Figured someone will find that sooner or later.
...kinda sad tho, you guys spoiled yourself the surprise like i did :/

I'm not 100% sure if this is a character tho.
Things that are missing: Character screen animations and Character screen select icon.
I have a theory that It's a new B ultra for Melting but it might just be an unfinished character.
And it's been in the files for like 2 or 3 updates now.

Huh. And here I figured they added the sprites early to slowly try and hype people up, kinda sad so much was found at once. A slower buildup is normally more satisfying. Ah well, still excited for the skellyman

Vlambor should not have put secret stuff like that in the public build of the game. Unless they didn't care if people find it.

On second thought there's no way to avoid that really. Even if the release version had it, people instead of unlocking it in the game would sniff around in the files and some guy would spill the beans all over reddit or the forums :/

Maybe they're reworking Melting altogether? And this is why they've said no new characters? Because from what we've gathered here it seems like the design or theme of how he will play is very similar to Melting unless this Blood Gamble thing is simply game-changing. IMO, Melting is almost too quirky and obtuse to play as. Sure, the active can be stupid powerful, but it can also be extremely hard to use, and utilizing it well is your only chance of survival barring God status.

To me it looks like NT version of the Lost from Rebirth. A character for the pro players to 100% the game with. Or Meltings new B ultra. But idk kinda weird that he would have a second pair of ultras. Tho what would "Back in the flesh" do other than turn him back into Melting ?

Im happy we're bringing an on topic thread to 150 post, and not just the troll thread we just got done with. itll come back somehow

Anyways, what do you think blood gamble means? Less HP, speed, and accuracy all together seems harsh too. Maybe the active will be powerful to make up for it? Throne butt does better odds, which means blood gamble must be something RNG based.

Sounds interesting.
