Chargeable guns?

So I was thinking about Nuclear Throne, and suddenly came up with an idea for a gun: Something like the laser cannon, but with the ability to charge it yourself. So while you're holding the Left mouse button, it would consume ammo until you released it and damage would be based on the amount of ammo you used. This could be applyable to many guns and stuff like the normal laser pistol, the splinter gun or the assault rifle(more shots). Does anyone like this idea? :)

yeah. i thought that you would need to hold LMB to charge the laser cannon. turned out it auto charge on its own.
RMB is bound to the characters active. so it has to be LMB instead.

also, maybe not the current weapon(laser pistol, splinter gun, assault rifle, etc), but new weapons that can be charged.

Owh wait, I meant the Lmb :'). But it don't really think it's that familliar to Y.V., although you might be right that his soecial ability wouldn't be that useful for those weapons, unless he gets double charges(one charge per second for normals, with Y.V.'s ability 2 per second or something like that)

I meant if it was RMB, it would be like Y.V.

I like the ability of being able to "charge" (control how long you charge in exchange for more damage) weapons. I would extend this to explosive weapons (cooking grenades) and maybe crossbows (more pierce).

But then I guess it would be almost a little stronger version of Y.V.(although not entirely)
