I have two suggestions.
Short /Open circuit: Whenever robot gets hit or eats a gun he emits lightning rails around him.
Refurbish/Recicle : Right clicking with only one gun equipped turns it into another weapon in the same tier. Recharges every time you eat a gun.
Both of these are pretty cool ideas, though for recycle, maybe it could change the weapon into another of the same ammo type?
Need more input...
Maybe give a sort of temporary ammo buffer? Like if you're maxed on ammo and you get ammo for that weapon, then it goes a little over the max and stores it but only for that level.
Could do the same if it gives you health.
Supply Drone - Creates a drone that roams the level and picks up enemy drops and brings them to Robot.
Defense Drone - Creates a drone that circles Robot that fires at any enemy or projectile within a certain range. Medium fire rate and damage.
It would shoot 1337 projectiles every second, because hax.
maybe you'd get +1 "armor" when you eat a gun with full health.
I'm thinking the same really, I don't get as much fun while playing as Robot as I do the other characters and I agree with alot of you are saying about his abilities. They're very questionable for the late-game.
He may not be as newbie friendly as some think in regards to that.
I was picturing it sort of like a pluto-hunger, but with "infinite" range, but you'd have to wait for the drone to deliver the goods. It could work well with pluto, with pluto snagging anything in the immediate vicinity, while supply drone scours the rest of the level. This WOULD be useful in loops, because, in a loop, the player is often killing enemies very quickly, many of which are offscreen. Supply drone would actively grab pickups from all over the level.
But, yeh, it's just an idea.
