There's been lots of wondering and questions about if and why the OST version sounds different from in-game version. I'll try to clear it up a bit for y'all!
The in-game version of the music is loopable so it works nicely in the game. But also it was mastered by me, differently than the OST version. The in-game music has less lower frequencies to make more room for sound effects. There's only a limited amount of what we can hear, so we made sure that the music doesn't get too much in the way of the important gameplay information aka SFX!
The OST version that you can find on Bandcamp has been mastered by (an actual) mastering engineer who really knows what they're doing. The sound is molded more towards your listening pleasure and to make the music sound as best as it can on its own. That's why a lot of the songs sounds fatter, more clearer, and so on! Also the OST version has looped songs with fade-outs and some songs that have actual endings. Not to mention the bonus tracks that you can find in the .zip file after downloading.
To answer some other questions, the OST will be on iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, etc! And also it's officially on youtube already: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jk5jogaEsz8 Also hopefully on Steam, we're discussing about that with Rami!
Sadly no Ballmom Circus demo. There's some personal reasons for why I really didn't want to put it out there, even in the bonus files. The song idea was a very tired decision and it was inappropriate for the game. Sorry about that!
I said this earlier but there's definitely discussion about some form of special edition physical release. Personally I really want some songs on vinyl hahah!
Hope this clears up some things!
Cheers!
Jukio "Kozilek" Kallio
(I did get someone to explain to me how did it sound so I understand a bit more your reasons)
Lament of a Mother is much better though.
I don't want to bore people with my life, but basically I don't have a credit card because I'm under aged and I think Bandcamp doesn't accept PaySafeCard, so Steam is the only option to buy the OST I have.
"Venus mouthing"? Really??? I can't hear it as anything but "Yenus youthing" which actually makes sense.
WE GOT LYRICS,THATS ALL THAT MATTERS.
If I can affect it, Steam version will have all the bonus content from Bandcamp!
You have to ask Doseone about that hahaha!
Prior interpretations are going to be hard to remove from public memory.
For the longest time I've interpreted
