Why do people dislike the Lightning hammer so much?

I just had a run with Y.V. and it carried me pretty damn hard
My only problem with it is the slow firerate but Gun God and Trigger Fingers are enough to make it amazing imo

I like it, energy sword is just a bit better I guess.

Raw damage output vs Sustainability.
If you don't have a good way to keep your ammo up the lightning happer is a hard carry stick.
If you have a way to keep your ammo high then there are better weapons.
People tend only to think in max-output, keep looking for those interesting combos like Lhammer Triggers.

I think giving it a firerate buff and making it consume 2/3 energy on swing would make it as good as the Esword if not better.

People have this insane idea that it's only good with Long Arms and Laser Brain. It's got a stupidly long range for a Melee weapon, with or without Long Arms, and has both the perks of a Melee and Lightning Weapon rolled into one. On top of that, it's actually a somewhat accurate lightning weapon.

yeah I couldnt get any good ammo mutations on that run it really saved my ass

Now that I think of it its probably the first time I made it far on L2 without rabbit paw or back muscle

My issue is that its fire rate is terrible when compared when other end-game melees. So after getting killed twice in the Loop for that reason, I stopped trusting it.

Then again, it's not an almost-loop-exclusive weapon anymore, is it?

its because they're all scrubs and haven't absorbed the power of the Lhammer its basically the one of the best meele weapons out there.( in my opinion) its better then the guitar but not as good as the Black sword... im sorry Lhammer.

I've had it spawn at pretty good times, considering its output.
Heavy melee weapons tend to require Triggers to come alive, but Lhammer also has that lightning chain-stun so can sort of forgive you if you miss. Good weapon, interesting one too.

Its about as fast as the Ehammer with gun god I believe. But yeah only YV has that ultra.

its slower then the Ehammer but still better with trigger finger jk this weapon was made for trigger fingers and long arms unlike the other energy meele that was made for laser brain

I love to take the Lhammer even if it doesn't love me.

I'd like to see it get a very minor firerate buff and I feel like it would be a perfect spot.

Its one of my favorites. Lightning with unlimited ammo, hell yes. Kept it from first throne to start of second loop. no trigger fingers or laser brain.
