Are Crowns even worth it?

So, I don't know why, but I was under the impression Crowns unlocked are available for all characters. So, on top of looping with everyone and getting a golden gun, I would pick up one of the pre-loop crowns on the way until I had them all. I wasn't aware the crown was only unlocked for the character.

To put it in retrospect, that's 6 runs you have to do per character, assuming best case scenario where you get a pre-loop and post-loop crown and are able to reach loop 2 under their effects. With 12 characters, that's giving you a minimum Best-Case of 72 runs where you not only pick up two crowns, but also reach loop 2 under a post-crown effect. I was planning on trying to get everything in this game, but now I'm feeling like it's not even worth it. Less than half the crowns are even any good, to the point where I barely remember the majority of names let alone their effects.

What does everyone else think? Are all the crowns even worth it, or should I just get the one or two that's good for each character. As much as I love this game, I don't see myself spending months trying to get every crown for every character and I don't think even the most direhard of players will find any worth in the ordeal besides maybe the challenge, as simplistic as that is.

The only crown I choose regularly is the one that gives you health instead of ammo for guns. I have taken the crown of cursed to unlock Crystal's B skin. I have taken crown of death, but without boiling veins its tantamount to suidice.
