Tips on Rebel
I'm planning on maining Rebel.
(Mainly for B-Skin)
Got any tips you can pass down for a rookie?

Rebel was my first win. I recommend heavy min-maxing her mutations. In other words, cherrypick only the mutations that help her active out.

basically all the HP mutations, Bloodlust Second Stomach Rabbit Paw Rhinoskin

anything to help the homies (allies) out.

Aside from that, get used to running in a posse, it can be confusing sometimes to locate yourself in the swarm of buddies, but getting used to recognizing your position can help you use your gang as a meat shield.

And one further thing to help, the allies following you tend to get confused the more wacky your path is. So to help their pathfinding, keep your movements concise and not super spammy, try for long straight walks instead of jerky dances, this will help them follow you better

Rebel's one of my favourite mutants due to the sheer insanity that occurs when in huge numbers.
For mutations you want everything that benefits her active.

Here's my ideal mutation list for a fun run with Rebel:
1. Second Stomach - Always getting back to top health is very beneficial
2. Bloodlust - Added push when missing 1hp from getting back Strong Spirit
3. Strong Spirit - Safety net if converted too much health for allies
4. Rhino Skin - More health = More allies. More allies = More chaos
5. Rabbit Paw - More health drops
6. Scarier Face - Aids allies kill faster
7. Throne Butt - Faster ally fire rate
8. Impact Wrists - Let corpses aid you in destruction
9. Weapon specific (Bolt Marrow, Laser Brain etc.) - Maybe, not sure
10. Riot - I prefer Ultra B to A as it's more allies

When you get more proficient you'll not need as many HP mutations.
If you die with Strong Spirit try to get back to full before making an ally.

get her throne butt and health mutations. Honestly both ultras are good but if your worried about managing your health than go with personal gaurd you spawn with 2 allies and I think they get bonus health

Prioritize getting her B-skin as soon as you feel able; it makes it a lot easier to distinguish her from her allies and extra clarity in positioning can save your ass when the screen gets cluttered.
Beyond what was mentioned here, I'd also suggest carrying a melee. Since a lot of your firepower is coming from Allies, you can afford to bring a melee along to clear away bullets. It keeps you alive (and with more HP, which means more Allies), it keeps the #squad alive and it can often help make tougher fights a lot easier. If you can get Long Arms and a Shovel, you've trivialized most fights.

Other than that, super secret Rebel protip: if you're at max health you're doing it wrong.

If you're getting hit a lot I wouldn't worry too much about allies unless you have the mutations for them. The health return in between levels paired with decent weapons/spawns should be enough to get you to mom without having to force the perfect ally build. If you do want to get ally crazy, I wouldn't go below 5 health unless I had strong spirit atleast until you are confident that you can get through the levels with 1-3 health.
