Nuclear Throne Mutations Tier List

Not taking into account mutants' individual passive traits.
Assuming the goal is to get as many kills as possible, in the loop.

Feel free to comment your suggestions on how this tier list could be improved. I will update this over time.

Mutations that are in the same tier can be comfortably taken interchangeably with each other.

Don't be put off by the tier letter that a certain mutation is in. If a certain mutation is in C tier, it doesn't mean it is bad. It just means that it isn't on the same level as the mutations in B tier.

S: Strong Spirit
A: Trigger Fingers, Bloodlust, Melting Throne Butt, Rebel Throne Butt, Scarier Face, Boiling Veins, Rabbit Paw, Laser Brain, Bolt Marrow
B: Plant Throne Butt, Impact Wrists, Steroids Throne Butt, Second Stomache, Long Arms, Robot Throne Butt, Hammer Head, Crystal Throne Butt, Eyes Throne Butt, Horror Throne Butt, Rogue Throne Butt, Back Muscle
C: Rhino Skin, Y.V. Throne Butt, Gamma Guts, Lucky Shot, Plutonium Hunger, Stress, Patience
D: Last Wish, Recycle Gland, Shotgun Shoulders, Chicken Throne Butt
E: Euphoria, Sharp Teeth, Open Mind
F: Extra Feet, Fish Throne Butt, Eagle Eyes, Heavy Heart

Fair point. I'd rather have most of the mutations above it instead of devoting a whole mutation to one enemy though. Maggots drain ammo to kill, so I'd much rather go for ammo mutations over it.

i dont think you understand

gamma guts makes technodancer robot things a piece of cake, saves you a lot of damage from snowbots, rats are basically unable to hit you, along with maggots, and i killed throne 2 with gamma guts when i otherwise would have died. :]

I wish I had that much success with gamma. It seems most people love or hate.

anyway, yea, gamma guts is rel gud. makes you not have to worry about smaller enemies like maggots or freaks and is just a really nice mutation for protection.

Yeah, I wouldn't put mutations in a tier list, because their usefullness depends on your weapons, character, and other mutations. This one time, I had a super plasma cannon and a auto crossy that was out of ammo. I had to kill a single maggot with the spc, but if I had gamma guts that wouldn't be a problem.

And I think eagle eyes should be at -z tier.

I think Strong Spirit is overrated. Today, I took Second Stomach over it because I had a Rabbit Paw but no Bloodlust, and it worked out fantastically.
