1 hit kill at 10 HP by first boss?

Seems over powered to me. He ran into me, and boom instantly dead. Pretty ridiculous.

Big Bandit is easy to die to at the start, Nuclear Throne is very well balanced but by no means is it easy. Crystal Caves are annoying, but the Ice level. Lil Hunter kills off half of my runs.

I'm at a point where I can breeze through pre-loop, but I still kinda suck, so 1/5 times I die at lil' hunter. Loop frozen city is where I usualy get destroyed

It's normal at first.

After fighting him a few times, you start noticing that his behavior is frighteningly predictable.

If you're very close to him, he jumps away.
If you're a short to medium distance from him, he tries to back away and fires his Bouncer Shotgun nonstop.
If you're far from him, he'll fire his Hyper Rifle.
If you're out of his sight, he'll start dialing 911.

If you get him to back up into a corner, you can use a melee weapon to reflect his Bouncer Shotgun shots back at him. He can't hurt you and dies pretty quickly.

If you get just out of his sight and watch for him dialing 911, you can come back and shoot him with a strong weapon while he's still stuck dialing.

Once you get a good sense of his behavior, he's pretty much a free kill.

You charge Big Bandit after he's charged himself or is finishing firing, else he could one-shot you as you're moving in. For melee, at the end of a charge is fantastic since you'll get multiple hits in; you can one-shot him with a Sledgehammer if you time it right.

For Big Dog it would be easy to get on him after reflecting his bullets with a melee weapon, but that would be silly... he's highly vulnerable to melee alone, and you have to run away from him after killing him, which is harder if you're right on him.

A surprise volley of shots from Big Bandit while the player goes in for the melee hit or Gamma Guts can easily put down a mutant, along with Big Dogs smaller explosions killing you if you dont have the right mutations. Lil Hunters the same, except the bouncer shotgun is arguably easier to counter with a melee than Big Bandit.

But the moral of this entire story is to not use Gamma Guts on enemies that are volatile, or even mildly agile. Hell, using Gamma Guts on that giant mutant rat-thing in the sewers before it charges could put anyone down easily.

The giant green rat does one contact damage... If you really waste that much time to try and kill the BGR and *then* you try and charge him, you deserve to die. Gamma Guts is OP when you know how to use it. I wish I could take a video of myself owning all the bosses with gamma guts only.
But then again, I may just be an elitist. I need to stop commenting on threads with people that have barely more than 30 hours in. All it is is time and practice.

Actually it was 100% reasonable to take them seriously just by their OP. Who cares if their profile is private, they might have an actual issue with the game that they don't understand and need explained.
The stuff they said after is fine justification for tossing their opinion out, however.

I hate when they say ♥♥♥♥ like that, and you try and look at their profile to try and get some information. (Hours, achievements, etc...) And bam.

I do actually want to help the new blood. But not when they say "You seem like a pathetic and lonely person." I lose faith in them.

That's something a 12 year old on facebook would say when they're trying to be a smartass and clever. Only problem with that is that it makes them looks stupid here. Especially when you go after someone personally, on the internet.
