Help, I can't unlock Skeleton

So I've been playing Nuclear Throne for a while now (+250hrs), and I'm currently trying to get the achivement for reaching the ultra-mutation with Skeleton. I'm having some trouble unlocking Skeleton. You are supposed to die as Melting inside a Necromancer's circle, and that's what I've tried several times. I thought that maybe the problem was not getting away from the enemy fast enough and so getting killed by it just after transforming into Skeleton, but as you can see, i die as Melting.
I've run out of ideas. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, and it doesn't seem very likely for a bug to happen so many times. Please help! <3

when the minions are summoned the circle is gone so you don't rez, you need to go into the circle and blow yourself up with an explosive weapon or blood weapon, either way you need to die in the circle before the minions are summoned.

Dying in any way whilst in the circle turns you into skeleton.

I am also with the same achievement and it seems extremely random.
First you have to die inside that place, when you die inside there no freak appears because melting would become the "freak", you died inside simply because you died from the spawned freak and not for another reason.

The guide that I think is key to go quiet around skeleton is:
1) get gamma guts and scarier face
2) get strong spirit and / or rhino skin (optional, if you are very good you do not need them, it is to go more comfortable)
3) Get an explosive weapon
4) reach the laboratories and kill the tanks mutants and explosives mutants leaving the magicians alive
5) There is no problem with the monsters because they die just by touching you, now wait for the circle to form against a wall and shoot the explosive weapon at itself facing you, so you will die inside the circle and voila, you're skeleton.

I think it is very random because gamma guts and scarier face are important for the achievement without problems and it is rare that they leave you on a run, outside of that, I had perfect games where I did not get explosive weapons or got junk weapons (sticky launcher for example). I don't really see it difficult because of the conditions to become a skeleton more than anything else.
It even happened to me that I did perfect runs where there were no wizards in the labs, it's very frustrating

Ok, so the trick seems to be dying before the freak appears, so Skeleton is summoned. That seems easy with an explosive weapon, as you say. Thanks!

Yes. Dying in any way in the circle works.

Getting a bazooka is the easiest method or any other explosive weapon that explodes on impact. But with practice you can easily do it with the enemies there too. Do not forget that you are melting. You can control how many corpses there are. So you can directly control how many enemies are gonna be revived. Note that destroyed scenery also gets revived into enemies. I find gamma guts and scarier face personally not a requirement. The only thing that can screw you over is the random chance to have no necromancers spawn.

Get the golden bazooka with melting, and you don't have to worry about the game spawning you an explosive weapon.
