Hostile Horror

I've been trying to unlock all the characters recently, and Horror's been giving me a bit of a tough time. What level is the best to fight him on? I tried to do it in the Desert but I couldn't handle Horror and Big Bandit. Thanks!

Honestly, since the enemies in the later areas are far more aggressive you'll probably have the easiest time killing it on 1-3, all it takes to kill it is 3 crossbow bolts/slugger shots so if you just get a decent level layout you should be set.

Alternatively, a single heavy crossbow bolt (drops at 2-1 or later) should oneshot the bastard if you also have scarier face, so scarier face+bolt marrow should pretty much give you the kill for free.

I beat him on 3-3 mainly because I let the enemies come to me until big bandit spawned. Crossbows really do well against both the horror and big bandit and can make focusing them both much easier. Scarier face and bolt marrow should be what you're looking for though. Crystal all really helps get the job done with her active and passive.

Also you better use Crystal it will be easier.

I actually made it on first try by accident. Just went chicken and got him in the severs
There is much more cover in severs to block the lazer, but if you get in a one way corridor youre screwed. Also doing the kamikaze on horror helped a lot. Also got a med from him so i even lived :p

The only time I did it, I didn't know of the requirement and got the fight on Lil Hunter's stage. Was in a perfect spot to safely win the fight too.

I've never managed to defeat Horror since then, and now I just try to avoid the fight.

Sewers and the frozen area seem decent though due to the amount of cover.

2-1 with a grenade launcher or any level with a laser weapon. Alternatively, exploit a glitch to spawn him as Rogue, and it's a non-issue.

I've seen radiation canisters show up as Rogue even though they shouldn't be, but I have no idea how it happens.

Crystal, Steroids, Eyes, and YV can easily deal with Horror, IMO.
Especially if any of them have a grenade launcher. Also Horror is fairly easy to beat, since it waits a few seconds after it's initial beam attack, which gives you plenty of room to quickly defeat it.

I managed to get him in a crown vault. he was the only enemy in there and lots of cover so... easy peasy. Just skip the two canisters on 3-1 and 3-2 then go in the crown vault on 3-2.

Arguable; I found that the tight corridors made it a bit difficult to get safe shots off on him.

I suck at this and yet I did it with squishy little melting, i'm positive anyone can do it.
