Game Breaking Bug
I'm sure this has been covered over and over but I can't find any recent updates on the subject.

I'm experiencing the gamebreaking bug post missing 6 (of the 8) where you are in the hideout and the ambasador is there.

I have been replaying to get 100% on all the levels up to this point, I come back and now I can't do anything.

Did this ever get resolved, or is there a workaround. I love this game but I didn't know there was a bug until I'd cleared all my saves down and I'm not willing to spend another 30 odd hours getting back to this point....

Any help would be awesome

I remember reading that you can contact the developers and they'll fix your save or send you some kind of beta patch, no idea if this is still true though since the game has been out for a while and they've gone on to developing the sequel.

I have plenty of saves from all stages (goblin difficulty), if you want I can send you one and you can test if the bug reoccures or if you can continue from there.

Is this happening 100% of the times?

I'm currently playing it for the first time, but after I finished it I will go for 100%.

Earlier threads suggest that it happens if you replay Chapter 1 before playing 2, same with 5/6 and I believe 3/4. The bug can happen whenever you have a cutscene sequence in the hideout which triggers the passage to the next chapter, since replays don't trigger the cutscene the passage doesn't open.
If you play through the entire game before replaying you shouldn't have any issues, at least that's what I did (didn't even know there was this issue) and I never had any trouble.

Happypiper, if you have a save at the hideout at the end of level 6 (or 5 i guess, but basically when the ambassador is at the hideout) that would be awesome.

Still, I'd like to complete it. Any idea what the contact address is? Ideally would like to finish my own one :)
