Inverted left stick

I've seen people complaining about it since almost 10 years ago and i have the same problem. The movement joystick is inverted and nothing can change its behavior (the game menu ignores the changes and the folders are in "read only" so i can't modify the .ini). Any solution or do i uninstall it?
