Styx: Master of Shadows

Styx: Master of Shadows

The game won't launch
The game won't launch, i click play and then Steam says i'm playing for something like 2 secs, then nothing, no images, no programs launched, only sadness... I've already reinstalled the vc redistributables, i ran U3 red too... nothing happened.
However, i can launch the game via 32-bit folder (64 one says error, still my specs run 64-bit programs fine). How can i force Steam to run the 32 bit .exe?
I've already experienced something like this with Darksiders 2 and pissed me off like hell

you can force the 32bit what you do is go in there that folder with 32bit exe then do right click>sned to(create desktop shortcut) after that if you ocdish need it to be prefectly organized rename shortcut to Styx 32Bit (what i would usually do) and then just click that shortcut it will always run in 32bit long as you use that shortcut i've looked for more natural way via steam there isn't one unfortunetly but that way will be no different it still has to be launched through steam drm and should still say you are in the game etc should have no problems really. Now I'd have to google round bet there might be a runtime command you can put in that just force it to run 32bit from the natural steam icons/shortcuts...

Edit: well googled around nothing turned up but I'd still bet it has one but only a developer could truly confirm it unless another player here has the answer to that question.

But you should still have nps running it from self created 32bit shortcut. I can personally confirm game really dosn't make use of more than 2 gigs of ram anyways that's really main reason for any 64bit game is to allow it to use more than 4gigs of ram.

Got it, right click game, go to validation of game cache and run it, you may find it has missing files, mine had 36

I did what you say, i created the shortcut and the game launches, however the steam client doesn't recognize it... I need to make steam realize i'm playing styx for the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sake of achievements
