Final Boss and Alerts
How do you get through the final boss fight without triggering an alert? I really don't know how that's supposed to work.

Are you talking like in terms of context for getting the Insignia of the Shadow? Because if so, alarming enemy goblins doesn't seem to cause any trouble. The only enemies that you should be worried about alarming are humans and elves.

Though if you still wanted to get some degree of perfect stealth and not alert the goblins regardless, one way to possibly do this is by ensuring you have the 4th Skill in the Stealth Tree ("Master of Invisibility") unlocked and enter the battle armed with both as many knives as possible, and a couple spare Vials of Amber.

When the fight starts, just turn invisible, and then start throwing knives at everything, whilst remaining completely staitonary. Gather up the spare knives lying around and repeat this strategy for phase 2 in order to never alert the enemies. Bear in mind that even if you enter the fight with 3 knives, and use the 2 that lie strewn around the area, you will need the kill the last Goblin up close.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

I was talking about it in term of Insignia of Shadow. I really thought that me not getting the Insignia was caused by the goblins. But I guess it must have been caused by Elves then. It might as well be since I found out today that there's a way of getting an alert WITHOUT the enemy going into red state. I can tell you with 100 percent certainty that no Elf went red, but if they don't need to... well.

I'm just replaying "The Creator" right now and getting seen by Goblins gives me an alert there. I don't know what's true anymore. :-O

I'll try it out the next time I play the game and see what happens when encountering Goblins. I could've sworn that alerting them doesn't cause any trouble.

Thanks for that. :-) Keep me updated.

OK, it seems I must've been mistaken. Apparently alerting clones does count as an actual alert. Strange as I could've sworn that only humans and elves should have been of any concern.
So, reverting back to the original question now that thats cleared up, just do more or less what I recommended originally.

Use invisibility and throwing knives in order to rid yourself ot the goblins in the final battle. Bring 3 knives and try to bring at least 1 spare Vial of Amber to the fight.
I recommend in the first phase using 2 of the knives, and then dispatching the 3rd Goblin up close. Otherwise when facing the invisible Goblins in the second stage you may have more trouble getting up close without being caught.

Save as well once the first phase is complete if possible, so you can reload if you do get busted.
Hope this helps. Good luck.

Thanks a lot. I'll try that.

Phew, I did it! I had only one throwing knife left (are there really few in that mission or is that just me) but I had two vials of ember. Killed two goblins from invisibility and used a knife on the first one. I repeated the procedure with the next set of goblins. The only difference was that I needed to get to a knife on the ground unseen.

Now the only things that I am missing towards a 100% are the no-kill and speed insignia for the last mission. Wish me luck. ^^

Congrats on the final boss fight.

I recommend that you do the no kill and speed run Insignia's simultaniously.
Back when I was trying to do the game to 100% I figured it was effective to pair doing Insignia's together, and if your speed running through a level, it makes sense not to try and kill anyone.

Good luck.

Yay, I did it. :-D Yeah, I have always been doing speed and no kills together. They work pretty well together. ;-)

Ugh, I'm screwed. I have no knives and no amber starting that last fight.... Back track through the last level and couldn't find any.

I know that there is one vial of amber in the Queen's Tower (Across the bridge from the room just before you come across the holed up humans). As for throwing knives, I can't tell. Resources are pretty scarce in that level.

Didn't use any throwing knives for the final, use amber for Invisibility (maxed out so not moving equals indefinite invisibility...) Stayed near the entrance and that first log, off to the side. Waited until only one was on that side of the center hole, then killed each clone as they came near. There are two waves so 2 bottles of amber worked. Good luck!

What if you dont have knifes and amber potions? And the last saved is from renaissance 1/3? Worst design for a final on a game!
