I know the game is effecitvely mothballed in terms of support but once iOS 11 comes out, the iOS version of the game will die as its not a 64bit app.

I wanted to offer my help (if needed) to re-compile the game and get it uploaded so that it can continue to be available.

Sadly not. No response to my emails, and obviously no reply here.

It’s sad as I’d love to be able to play it still on my iPad.

Yeah, I’d love to have it on the iPad too. I saw it’s still on Google Play, though - so the Androiders can still play it on mobile devices.

Make another try? To at least get an answer. Like it is, the possibility is still ’hovering’. Can’t get it out of my head. :-D

Also don't delete your iOS version, you won't be able to redownload it or the DLC extra content.
