No, if you play the game, you will understand. Some of the Murphy sequences are very fast-paced and needing to switch one hand from keyboard to mouse at that point simply won't work.
I'd honestly say that Murphy adds something to the game and the way it is done is very well indeed.
I played the WiiU demo at no point do you need to be both Murphy and a regular character. 1-4 people are Rayman/Girl/Globox/whatever and 1 player is Murphy. When playing solo I was given control of Murphy on the gamepad and the computer took out Rayman and added in a CPU Globox.
Replace GamePad with mouse. Done.
I can very well imagine a scenario where a friend would take the mouse or I'd take the mouse, for a single player doing both it might not work out nicely but I wish they used what was available on PC instead of just porting over the 360 version.
They THINK they want Murphy to be manually controlled. I sure they'll think otherwise after actually trying it.
I’m rather disappointed they didn’t at least give this as an option in the PC version with the mouse.
