Works normal and fine for me at that same resolution. What GPU and monitor you got?

works fine too... windowed mode? did you try to switch into the fullscreen mode?

Same problem here, 1920x1080 native resolution and it gives me black lines on all sides while selecting that res in-game.

I still cant play the game yet (US resident) but on the demo I was doing 1080p fullscreen locked at 60FPS perfectly fine.

Hey, if for some reason you have to run the game in windowed mode then at least download BorderlessWindowed.exe it gets rid of the border so that it looks exactly like fullscreen.

OP, this is a problem related to HDMI and under/overscan. If you check your monitor's settings while Legends is running, you'll see that it probably selected a refresh rate other than 60 HZ sometimes, and this is probably causing the issue.

I've been unable to fix this issue since Ubisoft didn't provide the option to select different refresh rates. Windowed Mode with BorderlessWindowed utility is something you could try, or just plug your monitor to VGA/DVI-I/DVI-D if it supports it.

I saw a fix here before from someone else which worked for me. I didn't get to thank him at the time as I didn't have a forum account, so thanks :)

This method is for Radeon cards as they seem to have a problem with this game.

Basically you go into AMD Catalyst and go into one of the options that lets you add a new resolution. Add 1920 x 1076 (not 1080).

Now run Rayman Legends and in options you should have 1920 x 1076 available, select this option and the game will run fullscreen (no black bars) @ 60FPS.

Hope that helps.

This is exactly what I did. Dunno why, this is impractical, but it works. You won't notice 4 pixels. :shopkeeper:

Hey great ! I used the 1920X1076 resolution and it's absolute perfect ! Thank you for the tricks !

you can also use 1920x1079. less difference.

Not working for me.
I have changed resolution to 1920x1076 and i saw darkness, with "not supported input format" message on my Sony LCD.

Question:
How to change resolution without launching the game. Is there a config file???

Works fine for me too: Asus G73 notebook, 5870m, 60fps all the time and no bars. Maybe re-installing drivers (full clean with registry cleaning) might help? That simple solution can do wonders. True story :)

I think since this is an issue related to HDMI, it's not the case for laptops (for example, running 1080 on 60fps here just fine)

How to run the game
1. Install
2. Search for the regedit(Registry Editor)
3. Navigate to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ubisoft\Rayman Legends\Settings\
4. Change the ScreenHeight and ScreenWidth to your monitor's native resolution
5. If still not opening try to delete fullscreen on regedit
