Online Co-Op?

Hey, sorry I can't find this information in the last few pages - is the co-op online? As in, could I play co-op with three steam friends? Or is it just stuff like challenge mode that's online? Thanks for the help!

Does the console versions have online co-op? Steam says "multiplayer", which is false advertisment since there's a difference between "online features" and "multiplayer", then again, Steam doesn't warn us about uplay either.

Multiplayer doesn't mean online ... You can plan multiplayer with other friend if there are in your home. So there is nothing wrong but say Multiplayer.
But I agree they would have warn us about Uplay !

the store front video clearly shows 'online multiplayer' and @arown, 'Multiplayer' means online multiplayer and 'local co-op/multiplayer' means local co-op/multiplayer for Steam store games
