Rayman Legends

Rayman Legends

PS4 Controller
Hello guys! I have a problem with the demo. The game works fine when I'm not using the DS4 Tool but it would not let me remap the keys on the controller. When I use the DS4 Tool to map it out as a Xbox 360 controller the game reconizes 2 controller in one.

I'm super happy that this game recognizes the DS4 without any drivers but the bottons are maped out in a wierd position and it wouldn't let me change them.

Okay, so here is what I did, without the use of DS4Tools or InputMapper. (Or other similar programs)

1. Open Regedit
2. Go to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ubisoft\Rayman Legends\Settings\Player0"
3. To make things easier for you, go ahead and do this:
Rename "ActionMurphy" to "Square".
Rename "ActionHit" to "Triangle".
Rename "ActionJump" to "Circle".
Rename "ActionBack" to "Cross".

4. Rename "Cross" to "ActionJump".
5. Rename "Square" to "ActionHit".
6. Rename "Circle" to "ActionMurphy".
7. Rename "Triangle" to "ActionBack".
8. Right-click "ActionBack" and click 'modify'.
9. Change it to match this:

0000 03 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
0008 02 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
0010

Press "OK" and you're done.

Note: You open the briefcase in the menus with Circle instead of Triangle, but you should be able to live with that. Other than that the layout should be the same as PS4's.
Hope this helped someone.

I wouldn't personally know if this works with a steam controller. Since I don't have one. Sorry man, maybe someone else is experiencing the same problem?
Jodeth Apr 2, 2016 @ 11:00pm
The solution that works for me is to assign a button at the precise moment, which seems to be in the 30-40 millisecond range after pressing Circle. Setting up a controller should never be this damn difficult. ♥♥♥♥... It's like a game in itself.

use the steam big picture DS4 configuration and make a standard XBOX360 config

So, I tried using the hide DS4 option and it gave me an error on the bottom saying that it didn't work and to close steam and uplay before changing the setting. I did that, and it worked perfectly fine. Hope that helps people out since I had the same issue and checked that out.

Bergethon, this doesn't work for me. I would be okay with just emulating 360 with DS4 but it's impossible because it overlays and shows as two controllers..

Where did it fail Davion? Are you using DS4Tools or any other 360 emulators while doing it?

In the Devices and printers you see the wireless controller (DS4) and the Emulated Xbox 360 controller. When you go to the DS4 Tool you click Hide DS4 Controller (in the Devices) the Xbox 360 controller disappears.
What a mystery

Hide DS4 Controller does work! But you have to quit all Apps/Games that use the xinput and restart ds4windows (using the Ryochan7 fork Version 1.4.121). Make sure that the "Set up game controller" app from Windows only shows the xbox360 controllers ordered on top.

I don't care if this is 4 years old, this should be stickied.

Hey there,

Thank you for your update and sorry to hear this didn't help.

Can I check whether you have the controller plugged in directly?

Many thanks,

1. Abrir editor de registros: Teclas Win + R: regedit
2. Ir a la ruta "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ubisoft\Rayman Legends\Settings\Player0"

En la ruta mencionada en la segunda linea cambiar el

Circulo: 02
Triangulo: 03
