Game crashes when trying to go to the options menu.
First of all, the games aspect ratio is all ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up and the picture isn't even centered. Then when I click the options menu, the game immediately crashes. This same thing happens if I start a new game and try to go to options menu from the Esc menu.

Anyone have any ideas what is causing this?


PS. This is what I get for giving money to Ubisoft. I never learn it seems...

Can you try putting the game in Windowed mode, using the shortcut ALT + Enter and letting us know if the issue continues please?

no, it don`t work, and main problem not with ratio (i can change it in registry editor)... but still problem when I click the options menu, the game immediately crashes

Sorry to hear about your issue with the game crashing.

We'd need a bit more information to go off to help further than suggesting to try the steps found {連結已移除} first of all, but for issues like this we really need to be able to look at your system files to help see what may be causing it.

Another good thing to try is to close Uplay, go to your cache folder in your Uplay directory and rename your cache folder to something like "cachebackup". Then see if you still have an issue.

If you have done those steps, please could you submit them {連結已移除}.

You can also private message us on Twitter (@UbisoftSupport) or Facebook (Ubisoft Support) if you prefer.

I went through all the above steps, none of them helped. And the chat you are talking about is currently unavailable.
I can generate the two reports (DirectX Diagnostic report / Microsoft System Information report) you need, just tell me where I can send them.

Did this ever get a solution? I've installed Rayman Legends today 24/04/2022 and am having the same crash as soon as options button clicked on.

I've tried both running full screen and windowed, and changed the resolution it runs at, all via the registry.

I'm certain I responded to this, but it's gone now :|
Basically my issue was with my machine and game was fixed by switching from DVI to DisplayPort cable. Was in contact with Ubisoft support as well but they had no idea and not blaming them as this fixed other games to me as well.

I still haven't found the answer, but I haven't had time to send in the error materials.

So I just dropped the game, maybe someday I'll try to solve this mistake again, but digging in support .. too difficult ..
