Origins vs Legends

Which one should i buy and why ?

Legends, especially since it actually includes many of the levels from Origins.

Go Legends dude. I found Origins waaay more frustrating to play. You have lives in Origins and if you lose all you restart a level, which essentially equals a waste of your time and less fun. Legends isn't necessarily less hard or more casual though, it's just more forgiving and less frustrating - to get the good scores and rock the later levels you still need a good amount of skill. Legends also has way better level design in my opinion. Basically you're totally in the flow while playing Legends. Origins in contrast flows about as smooth as a brick river at certain times.

Then it was probably just harshly placed checkpoints. Anyhow I distinctly remember I had to replay a lot of sections in Origins and I remember being quite frustrated by the game, which is why I was so positively surprised by Legends.

If you're on Windows 8 or above, I highly recommend Legends because Origins supports a range of Windows XP, Vista and 7 only, according to the store page.

Origins works fine on Windows 8 and 10. At least it did for me,

I think Origins is the better overall game... but Legends includes a lot of Origins levels any way, so you should probably go with that.

I enjoyed Origins a lot. It is a very solid, challenging and polished platformer.

Legends however feels like a mess full of unneeded crap. I don't care for the recycled Origins levels, the stupid football mini game, collecting creatures, daily challenges and so on. I just want to play a good game, fgs! And Murphy, it slows down the flow and it was obviously developed for a touchscreen.

The levels are laughably easy. I don't care if the difficulty picks up in World 5 if I have to play through boring 4 worlds before. No thanks. Did I mention uplay already? I admit the music levels are amazing, but does that justify playing all the rest? I say no.

Maybe I was just a bit fed up after origins? Most people love Legends so I would say listen to them ;) I was very disappointed though.
