Why isn't Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc on Steam?

Thought this forum would be appropriate for my question.

Just wondering, if anyone has any information. Bought the digital game on Amazon, just wondering why it's not on Steam.

They haven't released HD version on PC so it would be worthless, actually worst place to get the game.

I bought Beyond Good & Evil from steam just to realize that it's actually the original version with all it's DRM and lagging letterboxed 4:3 goodness and that GOG version was pretty much working one.

There is no HD version on PC, though. Only the consoles were given that.

There's a working version of the original game on PC available on GoG and Amazon, and a few others.

It'd be nice to have it on Steam. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. It'd also be nice if it had Steam achievements and cards...

Well that what I was saying as if it does come to steam it will most likely be just direct version so no steam achievements, cards or anything. If they suddenly do port HD version to PC it will most likely be uplay thingy so then steam will be just extra DRM just like with this game.

Oh, I hate uPlay. Steam should be the only DRM you need.

I should gather people's souls and force Ubisoft to create a HD remake for the PC, with no uPlay.

Damn, this is so old I don't even remember writing most of these.

But I think what I meant, is that you can already buy the game on retail, GOG.com and uplay already. There's no point on getting the game on steam unless they update it and like given example above, I actually had to buy BG&E TWICE because steam version is busted and GOG.com version is working fine.

So point with HD version was that they would make the game work on modern computers out of the box and possibly with higher quality assets, instead of getting the game to steam just for the sake of getting it to steam and getting possibly even worse experience with the game.

now ur older but, GC rayman 3 version plus hd texture = perfection, its not pirating if u own the game and such, it just suchs taht the pc ports are just outdated af

time for some necro again lol, rayman 3 is my favourite game but the fact that nearly all ports get no achievs and cards just tell me ubisoft does not care about theirs games and only want a piece of their minuscule cake on their little ♥♥♥♥♥♥ launcher, hopefully they keep on going downhill and someone take the reigns and work with steam more on PC

The only thing I hope Ubisoft makes or hires Digital Eclipse to make them a rayman collection that includes rayman 1 rayman 2 rayman 3 rayman origins rayman legends and rayman mobile games. Plus of course no ubisoft launcher with steam achievements. That would be amazing but it seems unlikely.

I know that they are on PC. But I WANT A REMASTERED VERSION OF THOSE GAMES. ALSO A COLLECTION IS A GOOD THING TO AT LEAST SHOW THEY CARE ABOUT RAYMAN WHO THEY FORGOT ABOUT. Also your forgot adventures and mini buddy. SO NOT ALL.
