How to remove coop

Im trying to play this game with my ps4 controller. It works fine, but the game connects two players when i do this. How do i remove the "keyboard player"?

Same here exept for me it adds two extra players. Do you know where they come from? (I use DS4 to play with ps4 controller on laptop)

We would actually recommend disabling DS4 to begin with as it may be causing conflicts with the game.

In order to use a controller with the game you must make some changes in the Steam settings first.

As a quicker workaround, I also advise once you have the controller set up and recognized in-game, to unplug your keyboard and mouse as a quick fix to the player 2 issue.
