How to play multiplayer Rayman?

COVID lock down means I'm separated from my 10-year-old daughter. I really want to be able to play live two-player online games with her. I'm considering buying Rayman Legends. My question is, can my daughter and I play the same game at the same time together? How does she join etc...? I have Steam and the Rayman demo installed on my PC. What is needed on my daughter's end?

You can play local-only games (which this game is) online using steam remote play or parsec. Only one person would need the game for this, but they tend to be laggy.
