How do I test VOIP/microphone?

I'd like to use my mic to communicate, but i don't know whether it's working. Is there an indicator that shows that you're talking? Is there a way to hear yourself talking to find out whether your mics loud enough?

Same question. I'm used to an indicator but don't seem to see one in this game. I checked all my settings and think I am setup correctly. We could always test it out together, I guess?

It will tell you when others are talking but, for whatever reason, not when you're talking. If you just ask if your team if they can hear you someone will usually say if they can.
