Can't connect to multiplayer

Hey folks, I searched the forums for about an hour and could not find a fix. (Just a warning I am a uber noob when it comes to messing with routers and firewall.)

Single player runs fine. I have tried about 30 different times to get into multiplayer games. Every time I either get one of three messages failed to join game, request to join game timed out, or failed to connect to player. Everything should be up to date.

2 times out of the 30 I got into a lobby but when the game went to start I was dcd from the rest of the group. Any help is greatly appreciated and thanks!

A VPN will probably fix this but I don't know a practical fix for pub games. Send an email to Overkill at [e-mail]

Something simple you might also try is simply changing your server location in your steam settings.

I tried changing location and thats when I started getting "failed to join game" message. thanks arcter.
