Thick Skin and the " Protector Crew Bonus"
It needs to be someone better defined in the game that if another player has the Protector crew bonus equipped having thick skin on doesn't do anything. I repeat this in Load Outs on the daily. Its quite frustrating to a heist, especially on Overkill settting, and having people not recognize this. =\

So what you're saying is that the protector crew bonus provides an amount of health equal to that which thick sking gives you, and they don't stack with each other? So if someone is using protector it is completely pointless to use skin? I know I haven't noticed this before, but I guess I haven't payed the closest attention to it while in game. Anyone else know anything about this?

I've always wondered myself how much a benefit both protector and thick skin provide versus not having them, but I don't see why they wouldn't stack.

Honestly though, when I'm playing overkill and overkill 145+, I go for extra ammo anyway. I'd rather be shooting bullets than absorbing bullets.

If this is true, it is a bug.

Big Game Hunter and Extra Ammo both stack, I don't see why Thick Skin and Protector would not.

Well, ammo usually is not a problem on 145+ if you are trying to avoid fighting the law. That and when you are downed you are instantly in the red after a pickup, so that extra life can be crucial when making a run or picking someone out in the open.

I've been playing for 300 hours now. In the first 270 hours, I rolled with extra armor. In 90% of those 270 hours, someone was using Protector. I've recently switched to Extra Ammo. People are still using Protector, but I have a very noticeably smaller health pool. It's forced me to change my playstyle significantly.

I don't use thick skin often enough to notice, but that doesn't mean I'm going to just take your word for it. Proof or get the ♥♥♥♥ out.
