PAYDAY: The Heist

Question about heat street
Hi guys, I was playing heat street yesterday and I noticed before the game actually loads and the talking's happening. I have no idea who's doing what. Does anybody know who says 'There slick, now I call the shots' as at that point the sound effect for the door closing has already happened and Matt should be outside.

Just thought I'd ask as it really got me thinking last night.

I think it is Matt. The voice when he says this is the same when he says "Hahaha, fool you guys."
That's what I thought but from the sound of it the door slams before he says that and then the next time he speaks he's muffled behind the glass door.

Like Wasteland said. "Slick" is probably just some random guy that was trying to help your crew out. Obviously some random guy had to be shot by Matt because the game couldn't lose any of the default crew.
Sounds about right. Thanks for the input guys!

I agree it's Matts voice without a doubt.. though I'd personally say "Slick" is just a taunt aimed at whoever the team leader is.. cos things really aren't running so smooth once Matt betrays everyone. If there was a guy called Slick who just got wasted I'd expect more comments from the 4 Heisters or at least a body or some blood.. haha.
It's Matt.

"Slick" is another reference to the movie Heat, a big influence on the game and Heat Street (reminiscent of the escape from the bank and the gunfights in the streets).

In the movie, one of the crew of professional criminals, Michael Cheritto (played by Tom Sizemore), calls people "Slick". It first occurs near the beginning of the movie when he first meets Waingro on a mission to infiltrate an armored car. Waingro is talking too much, so Michael says very curtly, "Do me a favor, quit talking, Slick."

Later Detective Vincent Hanna, played by Al Pacino, gets what seems like a gangster's dubious tip off about a guy who might be trying to pull off a big "job". Hanna blows it off as hot air and is about to leave when he hears the gangster played by Tone-Loc mention, "I'm telling you this "Slick" is no joke." The gangster explains that's what this guy calls people, "Slick."
Ahh brilliant post. I should have known they based it on something. Like No Mercy is based on L4D 1. Still makes a brilliant game though.
