How exactly does the Class system work?

No, dont worry, you're not wasting time to anyone. If you want to change class as when you level up and you want the points will go to support for an example, you need to press and hold Tab and look at bottom left, you will see all 4 (3 without DLC) classes. While you hold Tab you will need to press from number 1 to 4 to select the class that when you will level up, the point will go there.

Every class has its own, for beginner, I would recommand for you to level up support, since its increasing your ammunation/medic bags.

Oh and in this game you dont choose class before you start the game, you just can choose which class you can upgrade earlier.

Press tab and then 1 2 3 or 4 if you have the DLC to select what class you want. Level up classes by gaining cash which increases rep. Max rep = maxed out classes

no I meant the first one and thanks guys I figured it out a few minutes after posting this felt stupid and I wanted to change because I've got so much for sharpshooter and nothing for anything else so thanks once again appreciate it
