It shows me black screen and back to desktop

not crashing.
If i click it on tap again, same thing happen again.
I already did things like run it in it's directory, reinstall PhyX(?) and DirectX.
How can i fix it

Try this
open start tap and type %appdata% on searching tap
You will in Appdata\Roaming\ .go up one directory and go to Local Folder.
There will be PAYDAY2 or PAYDAY folder. Get in there. there will be one xml file.
open it and fix Windowed "False" to "True"
It will works

I have the same problem and there is no xml file there are two text documents and one says crash and the other says crashlog

There must have file called renderer_settings. If it doesn't Exist, idk how to fix it

did u choose to install the psy x the game tries to install when you first start? i noticed its an older version so i canceled the install.

the game will still load up after exiting psys x setup. only slight problem is, it always offers to install it each load up

well i kinda cant do that now because it dont doesnt do that anymore it just starts up like any normal game and it says im playing the game but then 1 second later im kicked and i dont even know it because the game aint showing up
