Payday The heist doesnt launch properly

My problem is different, i mean its not black screen with music and other stuff. But my problems is that the Payday doesnt launch AT ALL. Steam says it's lanuched but it quickly closes it ( the game doesnt open or anything, even in task bar there is nothing.).I browsed the community hub and people said to use exe file right-click it and do something but it didnt help. It says i need d3dx9_40.dll to launch the exe file. Couldnt find it in the computer so i browsed internet and it said to download DirectX which had errors while downloading. So i was left by spending moeny and not playing the game.

Please help i am already too tired of that $%^&, And thanks for those who helped.EDIT: (And i hope its not that i use Windows 7)

Install the DirectX version that came pre-packed with the game. Should be in the root folder.

When I last installed PD:TH there was no bundled DirectX installer. Maybe they changed it though, I'm not sure. As an alternative you can use a webinstaller for DirectX that provides a bunch of older version. You can find it here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=35

I dont know where is root folder and how to find it

right click on name game in steam library>properties> you can find it there

I browsed local game files but i couldn't find DirectX version in it Just like what happened to DorentuZ

Make sure you run the installer as an administrator.
Are you using Windows 10? I was having the same issue but just trying it again as admin made it work.

It never hurts to install latest graphics driver for your pc:

Nvidia : http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx
AMD : https://support.amd.com/en-us/download
Intel : https://downloadcenter.intel.com/

What you can try to do is:

Remove old graphics driver version, install latest version. Reboot pc.

After that verify your PDTH files> Name Game in Steam Games Library> Properties > Local Files > Verify Cache files. If files are not oke/corrupted they will be redownloaded again by Steam.

If game still not works properly download DirectX > https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/Download/confirmation.aspx?id=35

In rare cases you can set the game on compatibillity mode like Windows 7. But i have no experience with it. Rightclick on PDTH icon > Properties> Compatibillity > Enable it > Select Windows 7.

Also running the game as Administrator can solve problems.

If the game does not work after all given solutions, i am out of idea's.

Can you do a virus scan or use ADW cleaner?, maybe both? https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/ .
In the past i have seen with some players that their game did not work, this did help them.

You can also try an trial of Malwarebytes, it will remove infections if you are infected in trial mode. https://www.malwarebytes.com/

After this i have no ideas.
