You can't simply use a PD2 mod for PDTH and there aren't many for PDTH. The most popular mod for PDTH is DAHM/DorHUD, but despite its name it's much more than just a HUD.

There's a few others, but one is a simple retexture and another is basically a cheat (though that's not much different from many PD2 HUD mods). I think they're even compatible with the mod I mentioned earlier.
I see the correct all this in the payday th folder must be moved up to licens and readme?

If you're talking about DAHM/DorHUD:
The installation of a new version is as easy as unzipping the file in the root folder of your PAYDAY: The Heist directory. By default it's located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\PADYAY The Heist\" for 64-bit installations of Windows. For 32-bit installations, leave out the " (x86)" part. If you're not sure where it is, you can also get there by going to the properties of the game in your Steam library and "Browse local files...".

Just copy all files.
Thx works :chains:
If you're talking about HUD mods like PD2's WolfHUD, PocoHud or HoxHud. Then WTFBM[modworkshop.net] is the closest one to those mods.

I don't get why you would recommend installing a mod that's basically a cheat. Now the mods you mentioned do have some great features, the stuff included in WTFBM just isn't part of that and I don't get how many PD2 players fail to see that. And don't say it doesn't make the game easier, because it does.

The only good hud for PDTH is DorHud, everything else is heresy.

DorHud is nice. Don't install HoxHud.

Who cares if it's making the game easier? WTFBM is the closest to those PD2 HUD mods that have "great features." OP was asking about a HUD mod for PDTH, so I recommended WTFBM, because it is a HUD mod, and a good one at that - close to its PD2 counterparts. Actually, many of the WTFBM features you listed in your linked post are also features of many popular PD2 mods (some of which I've already mentioned). Branding them a "cheat" is a matter of opinion.

I remember the debacle when HUD mods were first released for PD2. A few people also said that they were cheats. Currently, nearly everyone and their grandmother has a HUD mod installed for PD2.

No, you can't deny they're cheats as they do make the game easier by providing information you cannot otherwise know. Tolerating them on the other hand is a matter of opinion and many people believe these cheats are acceptable, which I do not agree with.

Why you look angry if someone say something does not agree with you?

Modification means CHANGE by definition so, all mods are about making a change / changes to the game regardless these changes considered cheat or not. I think players might have different opinions about mods. Some players might accept to have drill timer and assault timer other players might accept to have the ability to do changes on cops like what cops want to spawn, when and where to spawn. On the other hand, some players might not accept both mods and not even accept DLC which is %100 legit because they do not want to have anything could make the game easier so, it's all about opinion no need to complain about mods we can simply do not use them if we think they would give some features which shouldn't be given to players.

Unfortunately, what I have seen from some mods not only make the game easier but it might make nothing impossible and the lovely leaderboard is a good example but, like Hollerbach said who cares? if overkill does not care why should we care?

If grandmothers play payday + install mods then that's the end of discussion for me I can't say anything against grandmothers xD

I'm always angry according to you. I also have no idea why you would start all arguments with this...

Yes, they're changes. But I don't know what you're trying to say here and saying what the words modification and change are similar does not contribute anything to this conversation. Of course people can have different opinions about mods, but some people are so misinformed or refuse to believe anything other than "all mods are cheats" (like you) that there's no point in having any sort of argument. Because how are mods that fix bugs that can crash your game the same as mods that show additional information that give you an advantage? You act like they're the same thing and classify them both as cheats...

On the other hand, some players might not accept both mods and not even accept DLC which is %100 legit because they do not want to have anything could make the game easier so [...]
And yet you refuse to try my mod that optimizes some functions and normalizes the enemy tasks scheduler to have a more equal experience for everyone. It's not perfect, but it's a start. This does not make the game any easier for anyone, but it may make the game more difficult if your pc can't produce a high frame rate. But you won't try it because then you can't brag with how good you think you are and instead keep insisting on how all mods make the game easier...

it's all about opinion no need to complain about mods we can simply do not use them if we think they would give some features which shouldn't be given to players.
So we can't say some mods add features that are nothing more than cheats because some people like to play with cheats? That's some weird reasoning.

who cares? if overkill does not care why should we care?
If it affects my gameplay without choosing it, even indirectly, I do care. Overkill only cares about money and that's a stupid argument. But yet people keep asking that (rhetorical) question.

And you should really stop making arguments if you know absolutely nothing about the subject. That doesn't contribute anything...
To be clear about MODs on PDTH: If you want a mod install DorHud, if you want to cheat, install the other one. This isnt about point of view, is just facts.
