We don't have a Deck to test with so unfortunately there's no a lot we can do on this front to help right now.
Cloud saves are setup on Windows based on the path the game saves to within the Windows OS.
As such, on a different OS the path will likely be different too, preventing the sync from working properly.
If you can provide the default save path from your Deck, we might be able to update the cloud save settings to get that working for you and others.
We're also looking into the save speed as we've seen this being a bit slow on Windows too in some scenarios.
All you had to do was this:
- On your Steam partner page go to App Admin for your game.
- Go to Application tab and select Steam Cloud.
- Set byte quota to something like 1000000, and number of files to however many save files you allow.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit "Save"
- Scroll up to Steam Auto-Cloud Configuration, and click "Add New Auto-Cloud Path"
- A new line now pops up under Steam Auto-Cloud Config. Press "Edit".
- In the "Root" column from a drop-down select "WinAppDataLocal".
- In "Subdirectory" column type Eldritchvania
- In "Pattern" type *.ini
- In "OS" select "Windows"
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit "Save" again.
- Scroll up to the top and uncheck the "Enable cloud support for developers only".
- Hit "Save" again.
That's it! You are all set! Now just hit "publish"!
